Getting started

GlassChat runs in your browser — nothing to install. Visit glasschat.app, create an account, and you're messaging in under a minute.

Create your account

  1. Open glasschat.app and choose Create account.
  2. Sign up with Google (one tap) or with email — email signups get a 6-digit verification code.
  3. Pick your name and avatar. You can change both any time from Settings → Profile.

Start a conversation

  1. Tap the compose button (the pencil).
  2. Search for a contact by name or email.
  3. New to each other? Send a chat request — messaging opens up once they accept. No cold spam, by design.

Groups

  1. Compose → New group.
  2. Name it, pick members, done.
  3. Group admins can control who may send messages, edit group info, and approve joins via invite links (open or approval-based — your call).

The AI, if you want it

Every account comes with the GlassChat AI chat: ask questions, generate images, request voice-note replies, or @mention it inside a group. It stays out of your way otherwise — and it can never see end-to-end encrypted conversations.

Where things live

  • Chats — your conversation list.
  • Calls — call history plus any live group calls you can join.
  • Activity — requests, mentions, and reactions.
  • Settings — profile, privacy, security, appearance.
